Farmyard, Tveito, Hovin, Tinn, Telemark, 1907

This is likely South Tveito farm because of the lofthaus on the edge of the hill. This lofthaus is now in the Norwegian Heritage museum.
If so, then North Tveito farm would be at the top right. North Tveito farm was owned by five Ole Olsen Tveten's before Grace's father Ole Olsen Tveten. The first Ole Olsen Tveten's father was Ole Sigurdsen Tveten-Skivdalen who came from Skivdalen, another farm in the Hovin parish.
When Grace's father was twelve, his mother Tone Gunleksdatter Sanden died and his father remarried. The farm would then pass to the new family.
Ole's father Ole and his new wife Ingebjorg Knutsdatter Gaustad had a son Olav Olsen Tveten who inherited North Tveito farm. His son Ole Olavsen Tveten inherited the farm after him. It was this Ole Olavsen Tveten who died without direct heirs and the estate was divided up among surviving first cousins.
